ABOUT ABT
Born from the burgeoning impoundment bass fishing scene of the late nineties, ABT was created as a vehicle to enable anglers to combine their love of fishing, friendship and competition. The catch and release format and the excitement of competition proved successful, with ABT soon expanding into bream and in more recent year's barra.
Evolving from its' early days ABT has now ballooned in an organisation that runs over 40 events a year, in fives states throughout the country, and with ever expanding industry support and recognition. With an operating motto of 'who shares' win', ABT encourages cooperative sharing within the sport and the industry a like.
The most recent expansions of ABT's tournament structure, AFC represents the pinnacle of tournament fishing in Australia, with the series being ultimate step for ABT tournament anglers, with BREAM Classic and Qualifying events providing competitors with a pathway into the big league and onto to TV.
The ABT tournament family offers a host of options for tournament anglers, from low key, introductory styled BREAM Classics, through to big entry fee, large prize money fuelled MegaBucks and Grand Final events. What ever you're looking for ABT has a tournament for you.
